Corporate Responsibility has been a part of VicRoads’ identity since its inception. For nearly 100 years, VicRoads has been committed to serving Victoria. We do this through our primary role of planning, developing and managing the arterial road network and delivering registration and licensing services.
At VicRoads, we aim to go above and beyond our core business as a road authority. There are many activities that VicRoads participates in that encourage a positive impact within our economy, community, environment and workplace.
At VicRoads we also:
- provide safer roads for local and internal community
- support community events and causes
- provide reliable access and minimise congestion
- improve customer service
- integrate a more sustainable transport system
- develop organisational capability and culture
We have published our first Corporate Responsibility Scorecard [PDF, 1.5MB, 4pp] which includes a number of corporate responsibility initiatives that VicRoads was involved in during 2011. This scorecard symbolises a step forward in corporate responsibility and adds to VicRoads proud history of serving the Victorian community.
