Corporate Policy and Planning’s (CPP) role is to support VicRoads and the Chief Executive to:
- shape national and local transport reforms that benefit Victorians
- support effective liaison with the Minister’s Office and Department of Transport
- coordinate timely, accurate and objective correspondence and briefs
- identify emerging trends and developments in government and outside with a relevance for the organisation’s capacity to continue to serve Victorians
- articulate organisational directions and achievements
- ensure that VicRoads continues to comply with government rules on governance and accountability.
Aidan McGann
Aidan McGann has been Director Corporate Policy and Planning since early 2008. He is responsible for providing effective advice to the Chief Executive and wider organisation on national transport reforms, input to and adoption of state policies, articulation of corporate directions, statutory reporting on achievements and coordination of briefings and correspondence to the Minister and Chief Executive.
Aidan has held a range of roles in transport policy, planning, program development and research at state and national level for almost 20 years. He has a Master of Engineering Science in Transportation and Traffic Engineering from Monash University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
