A cycling Code of Conduct has been developed by the Victoria Police, groups representing road cyclists, the Transport Accident Commission, Bicycle Victoria and VicRoads.

The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to encourage cyclists to ride in a safer manner, to increase their compliance with the road rules and to show more respect for other road users.
