The bicycle network consists of a range of existing and proposed bicycle routes across the State. These routes are collectively managed by VicRoads, local councils, Parks Victoria and the Department of Sustainability and the Environment.

- Metropolitan Trail Network - recreational routes in Melbourne (included shared pathways with pedestrians) coordinated by Parks Victoria
- Rail Trails - multi-purpose recreational trails that are built along closed railway corridors across regional Victoria, managed by local communities and the Department of Sustainability and the Environment
