Technical Bulletins detail best practice on a topic relevant to VicRoads operations.
Technical and Design Notes provide technical information concerning best practice and/or latest techniques used within the road building industry. Topics include structures, construction materials, pavements and geotechnical issues.
Australian Standard and Commentary, AS 5100 – Bridge Design – 2004, specify VicRoads’ requirements in a range of bridge-related issues.
Bridge Technical Notes supplement the Australian Standard and Commentary.
VicRoads Road Design Guidelines outline VicRoads' requirements for a range of road-design related issues.

Test Methods detail the scope, equipment, procedures, competency of personnel and reporting requirements to enable a test to be performed. Test methods are used by the VicRoads laboratory and by contractors working on VicRoads-related works.
Codes of Practice detail how and when test methods and procedures shall be used in VicRoads works. Codes of Practice are referred to in VicRoads bridge and roadworks specifications where implementation is mandatory.
Surfacing Chat describes practices and processes which may be of interest to VicRoads and external clients. It provides general discussion on bituminous-surfacing related matters.
