As an incentive for farmers to improve truck access into their properties, three subsidy schemes have been introduced.

Farmers on arterial roads (roads designated as type A, B or C) may be eligible for a subsidy under the Arterial Roads Farm Gate Access Scheme [PDF, 254KB, 4pp]
Regional Development Victoria has developed the Local Road Dairy Farm Gate Access Scheme [PDF, 303KB, 4pp] to improve dairy property entrances off local roads to accomodate the larger B-doubles.
Regional Development Victoria has also developed the Local Roads To Market Farm Gate Access Scheme [PDF, 343KB, 4pp] to improve agricultural and horticultural property entrances off local roads for B-double access.
