Not all roads in Victoria are available to all vehicles. Some vehicles have limited access to the road network because of their size or their mass. The Heavy Vehicle Access Maps are provided to assist operators and drivers of these vehicles in the planning of their route.   
  
The maps show: 

• Approved routes for B-doubles and vehicles with a tri-axle group that has a certified road friendly suspension operating at Higher Mass Limits; 
  
  
• The OD routes and the Areas of Operation for oversize load carrying vehicles; and 
  
  
• The Areas of Operation for oversize agricultural vehicles. 
  

The maps also show the location of bridges on arterial roads that have limited capacity and show the location and height clearance under many of the overhead structures.
