The practice licence tests can help you become familiar with and prepare for the test you will need to pass when applying for a licence. These tests are conducted on the VicRoads Computer Licence Testing system.
Practice Learner Permit test: For this practice test to work correctly, you must ensure that the 'Java' application is enabled on your browser. Find out how to enable Java on your browser.
- consists of 32 questions
- questions are randomly generated from the pool of 320 actual test questions
- every time you take a test, different questions are asked
- pass mark is 78%
- you will be directed to the relevant section of the handbook for questions you answered incorrectly, so you can study that information more thoroughly
- help you become familiar with the test but does not look identical to the test conducted by VicRoads at a Customer Service Centre.

Sample computer tests: This application is currently only compatible with windows browsers. eg. Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox etc.
Please note that the Hazard Perception Test is not compatible with Apple Mac.
