The PBN is a network of bicycle routes that provide access to key destinations in Melbourne. The PBN is a planning tool that is used to guide investment in bicycle infrastructure. The maps of the PBN show routes where bicycle facilities have been provided and routes where it is proposed to provide bicycle facilities.
The maps of the PBN can be used for navigation, but their primary purpose is for planning the bicycle network. As indicated below, maps of the PBN are available for each local council area.
