Number plates must be clearly displayed on a registered vehicle so it can be driven on public roads. In saying this, there are a number of different types of plates to choose from.

There are three ways to check availability and to order your plates:
1. Order online at

2. Call VicRoads on 1300 660 417 (Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5.00pm, Sat 8.30am - 2.00pm). Credit card (Visa or Mastercard) payments only;
OR
3. Visit a
VicRoads Customer Service Centre, where you can pay by Cash, Cheque, EFTPOS or Credit Card.
