This is an online service used by Financiers, Motor Vehicle Dealerships and other Authorised Users to check financial encumbrances and other registration information.
The functions that are available are:

- Maintenance of Interests / Encumbrance

VSR OnLine can be used by Financiers, Motor Vehicle Dealerships and other Authorised Users.
- A Financier will be able to Register / Vary /Cancel Financial Interests in Motor Vehicles, Trailers and Motorcycles.
- Enquire on the financial status of Motor Vehicles etc
- Enquire on the stolen status of Motor Vehicles etc
- Confirm details of vehicle/cycle /trailer registration
- Request VSR certificates
- Enquire on the financial status of Motor Vehicles/Cycles and Trailers
- Confirm details of the vehicle/cycle/trailer registration
- Enquire on the stolen status of Motor Vehicles etc.
- Request VSR certificates
- Registered operators name and addresses will NOT be released.
- Registration history details
- Insurance write off details
VSR OnLine enables registered users to access VSR services at any time and from any location with access to the internet. The system provides users with real time information on vehicle registration details and vehicle encumbrance details as well as the access to maintain encumbrance details at any time. It is a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week service (apart from maintenance and scheduled outages), it is cost effective and easy to use.

- All VSR OnLine access is based on the return of a successful credit rating conducted by the Vic Roads Finance Department. VSR OnLine does not have Credit Card or Direct Debit facilities (at the point of transaction).
- The VSR group will send out to all clients a monthly statement which will include all VSR financial transactions usage.
- The VSR group will also send out a monthly OnLine Subscription Invoice.
- VSR Online is a quick and simple system to use and learn
- A user friendly VSR OnLine User Guide will be sent to all registered companies to help them get started.
