If you are moving to Victoria permanently, your vehicle needs to be registered here. You will also need to renew your licence after living in Victoria for more than three months.


What you need to do
To register your interstate vehicle in Victoria, call us on 13 11 71 (Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5.00pm, Sat 8.30am - 2.00pm) with your credit card ready [Visa or Mastercard] and the following information:

• the vin and engine number of your vehicle
• your number plates
• your current licence number.

       
We will organise a time for you to visit your local customer service centre and register your vehicle.
