All hybrid vehicles receive a $50 registration discount.  This discount is automatically deduced and will appear on your registration renewal notice. A hybrid vehicle is powered by both electricity and fuel.  Fully electric vehicles are not entitled to this discount.

Six month registration renewal
If you pay registration on a six monthly basis the $50 discount will be calculated pro rata.

Hybrid heavy vehicles
Hybrid heavy vehicles also receive a $50 discount on registration. If you pay registration on a conditional basis the $50 discount will be calculated pro rata.

Hybrid Identification Stickers – a registration requirement
All hybrid vehicles must display hybrid vehicle identification stickers on the number plates.
