Planning investigations have been undertaken for the future widening of High Street Road between Stud Road and Burwood Highway at Wantirna South. Works to upgrade this section to complete the fully divided road through to Burwood Highway, will be considered for funding in future State Government budgets.
Duplicating High Street Road between Stud Road and Burwood Highway will:
- reduce travel times
- ease congestion
- improve safety for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
VicRoads has developed various road design options in consultation with local residents and businesses, to help us plan for future traffic improvements.
