Stud Road duplication, Wantirna

Project overview

A $12.7 million State Government funded project to widen and upgrade Stud Road at Wantirna, providing two lanes in each direction between Boronia Road and Mountain Highway.
 
Works are expected to start in late 2013 and take around 12 months to complete.

Current progress
Planning and preconstruction activities are underway with a contract for works expected to be awarded in mid to late 2013.

Involving the community
Consultation with residents and businesses was undertaken during 2011 to help VicRoads develop and assess road design options. We will continue to keep the community informed of proposals as they are finalised, and to advise of works progress and impacts through information updates and on VicRoads website.
