Clyde Road Upgrade, Berwick media gallery

Progress of the $55.6 million Clyde Road Upgrade between High Street and Kangan Drive in Berwick. The upgrade will improve safety and traffic flow along Clyde Road and aims to enhance the character of the area.

Overview of improvements to Clyde Rd including two lanes each way between High St and Kangan Dve, upgrade of the High St intersection, realignment of Mansfield St and Langmore Ln, intersection improvements at Enterprise Ave and Reserve St, new bike lanes and footpaths and some indented on-street parking. Current progress

BMD Constructions Pty Ltd is VicRoads contractor for the construction works. Preparatory work has started near the rail line and some trees were relocated in December 2011 ahead of major works. Major construction started last month and is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
