Motorcyclists
Motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users. Motorcycle riders and pillion passengers accounted for 14 percent of road fatalities in 2006 (even though motorcycles are only 3 percent of all vehicles registered in Victoria). In response, Victoria provides educational resources for motorcyclists, along with planned initiatives to improve safety.
