The standard drawings are divided into eight sections according to these types:
Pits
Subsurface Drains
Culverts
Kerbs
Posts and Fences
Guard Fences and Barriers
Retaining Walls
Concrete Pavement
The first drawings in the sections for Pits, Culverts, Guard Fences and Barriers and Concrete Pavement provide general guidelines on how to use other drawings in the respective sections.
The information provided in each of the sections sets out guidelines for the selection of design standards and practices for roadworks.
Please contact the VicRoads Principal Road Design Engineer if you have any queries about these guidelines at technicalconsulting@roads.vic.gov.au
