Traffic Engineering Manual Volume 2 - Signs and Markings

TEM Vol 2 - Cover

This Manual is issued by VicRoads to provide guidance in establishing a standardised system of signs, pavement markings and associated devices on declared freeways and arterial roads throughout Victoria.

In the interests of uniformity, Councils are encouraged to apply the requirements of this Manual to municipal roads.

A standardised system is essential to ensure that traffic control devices communicated consistently with drivers to enable them to comply with road rules, and to navigate their way around the road network in a safe and efficient manner.
