The Victorian Community Road Safety Alliance (the Alliance) received program funding applications from 37 of the 48 registered community road safety groups totally approximately $2.9 million to implement targeted and effective local road safety programs 2011-2012.    VicRoads has a budget of approximately $1.7 million available for distribution to registered groups for effective community road safety programs.

Following an extensive assessment of all program funding applications the Alliance made broad recommendations to VicRoads on programs and budget.  VicRoads reviewed the recommendations and made final program and funding approvals.

The table below provides a summary of program approvals for year one 2011 -2012 to registered community road safety groups.  The information is correct as of 30 June 2011.
