If you are in the market to buy a car, the Used Car Safety Ratings (UCSR) are a reliable source of information on a used car's safety performance. The UCSR were developed by MUARC and use the actual records of over 4 million crashes on Australian roads to rate cars according to their on-road crash performance and how well they protect drivers in a crash.
