Behaviour Change Program approved provider requirements
Find out what it takes to become a Behaviour Change Program (BCP) provider, and how to deliver the program.
Everyone who’s committed a drink and/or drug driving offence from 30 April 2018 needs to complete a BCP. VicRoads approves and manages who can provide this program.
For more information about BCPs, refer to behaviour change programs.
What are the requirements for BCP providers?
The BCP is delivered across Victoria by qualified psychologists, social and health workers with specific experience within alcohol and other drug services.
The program is designed to help participants identify the underlying reason for their drink and/or drug-driving offences and aims to reduce their risk of re-offending in the future.
Interested in becoming a provider?
Approval of new Behaviour Change Program providers is done through an Expression of Interest process.
If you’d like to be notified when an Expression of Interest is in place, please email [email protected] to register.
