Low or Zero Emission Heavy Vehicles (LZEHVs)

View Victoria’s network map if you’re driving a Volvo FM or FH Semi-Trailer (7.5t steer, 44.0t GCM).

All authorised heavy vehicle road network maps are now published by the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, through the NHVR National Network Map.

To ease the industry’s transition to the National Maps, Victoria’s heavy vehicle network maps will continue to be updated on the VicRoads’ website in the short-term.

Victoria's pre-approved Low or Zero Emission Heavy Vehicles (LZEHVs) Volvo FM & FH Semi-Trailer (7.5t steer, 44.0t GCM) network map. This map shows all approved arterial and municipal roads that operators of these Volvo Semi-Trailer models can use.

Roads not shown as approved (green) require road manager approval for access by permit, with the exception of signed detours. This map is deemed to include any detour around a road closure on a gazetted road, provided it is marked with detour signage.

Note: Operators must comply with mass and height clearance restrictions and advice, as indicated by symbols (red dots for mass restrictions, orange dots for mass and travel conditional approval) and orange diamonds for height).

For all road closures, traffic alerts, roadworks, and detours or events, causing road closures and/or detours, this Planned & Unplanned Disruptions map layer should be applied to the heavy vehicle network intended for use.

NOTE: The route to be used must also be checked prior to travel. The Disruptions data will be viewable on the HV map network you are checking by toggling on once in the highlighted layers widget above the information panel.
