B - double truckVictoria’s gazetted arterial and municipal roads for Class 2 B-Doubles and Class 3 B-doubles operating under Victoria's Livestock Loading Scheme. (Please note that for the purposes of this map livestock is defined as cattle, sheep, pigs, horses and goats).

Roads not shown as approved (green) or orange (approved with conditions) require road manager approval for access by permit, with the exception of signed detours. This map is deemed to include any detour around a road closure on a gazetted road, provided it is marked with detour signage.

Note: Operators must comply with mass and height clearance restrictions as indicated by symbols (red dots for mass and orange diamonds for height)

Victoria's HML network does not allow access for:
  • Road Trains
  • 3-axle and 4-axle Truck and Dog trailer combinations 
  • Other PBS compliant combinations 
  • B-doubles that exceed 19 metres, if that route does not appear on the B-double network map.

View the Road Train network map

Road TrainVictoria’s Class 2 Road Train gazetted and permitted map network. The map shows the network in north-west Victoria that road trains can use at up to 85.5 tonnes. 

All approved (green) roads on the map are gazetted and do not require a permit.  All conditionally approved (orange) roads are pre-approved for road-trains but still require an access permit from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.  

All roads that are not mapped as either green or orange also require an access permit from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. This map is deemed to include any detour around a road closure on a gazetted road or pre-approved road, provided it is marked with detour signage.

Victoria's gazetted arterial and municipal roads for Class 3 B-Doubles operating under Victoria's Grain Harvest Management Scheme.

Vehicles manufactured from 2002 onward operating under the GHMS are eligible for a 5 percent mass concession when transporting grain to the nearest participating grain receiver between 1 October and 31 May. For all definitions and terms relevant to this map please view the documents below and the GHMS information page.

Please note that B-doubles operating under the GHMS must comply with the relevant conditions outlined in the National Class 2 Heavy Vehicle B-Double Authorisation (Notice) 2014 (No.2). 

Roads not shown as approved (green) or orange (approved with conditions) require road manager approval for access by permit, with the exception of signed detours. This map is deemed to include any detour around a road closure on a gazetted road, provided it is marked with detour signage.

Grain receival centres are indicated by a black silo symbol.
