Workshop equipment

You’ll need to purchase the correct workshop equipment depending on what LVT licence you applied for and what training was conducted.

The table below outlines the equipment required for each vehicle category. You can read the Licensed Vehicle Testers Licensed Conditions [PDF 387 Kb] for more information on the workshop requirements. 

This equipment shouldn’t be purchased (if not already) until you have been given the approval on your LVT pre-application and passed your accredited training.
