Ringwood Customer Hub and Ringwood Testing and Inspection Centre

In a significant move for VicRoads customers in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, VicRoads is shifting its operations from its Customer Service Centre at Burwood East and Licence Testing Centre at Mooroolbark to two new, purpose-built facilities in Ringwood. Strategically positioned in Melbourne's eastern growth corridor and well serviced by public transport, VicRoads' state-of-the-art facilities at Ringwood will provide a first-class customer experience.

A new licence testing and vehicle inspection centre will open in Heatherdale Road, Ringwood, in early April 2022. The new Ringwood Customer Hub will be opening on the Maroondah Highway in mid-2022.

With the opening of the new Testing and Inspection Centre, these services will cease at Mooroolbark and Burwood East in late March 2022. The Burwood East Customer Service Centre will remain open for all other Registration and Licensing Services until mid-2022, while the Mooroolbark site will be closed.

Appointments for licence testing at Mooroolbark LTC and Burwood East CSC are fully booked up until late March when these services are discontinued. No new licence testing appointments will be made available.

Over-the-counter services will be available at Burwood East Customer Service Centre until its closure in mid-2022.
