Hazard Perception Test Interactive Demonstrations
The hazard perception test demonstrations require real-time feedback to visual media and thus are not available for screenreader technology.
Video instructions
Click on ‘Launch videos’ to open the video player in a separate window.
Read the instructional text at the top of each video and click on the ‘Play’ icon to begin.
For each scenario, you can choose to act by clicking your mouse when you think it’s safe. After you've clicked, feedback is displayed on-screen to let you know if you’ve responded correctly.
Click on ‘close’ to return to the main menu and ‘refresh’ to get a new list of videos.
To exit the video player, click on ‘x’ in the top right-hand corner.
Before you start
To get the best experience we recommend you:
- Play videos from a desktop computer.
- Use a widescreen monitor.
- Check your mouse is working properly.
- Make sure your volume is turned on.
- Read each scenario carefully.
