Pascoe Vale Road overnight exit ramp closure and four week lane closure

28 April 2017

The M80 Ring Road Greensborough bound exit ramp to Pascoe Vale Road will be closed for works from 7 May to early June 2017.

Some important maintenance works need to be completed on the Moonee Ponds Creek bridge. In order to protect drivers and our workers, a lane of the Pascoe Vale Road exit ramp will need to be closed for approximately four weeks.

To set up this lane closure, concrete barriers will need to be installed using a crane. The whole ramp will be closed overnight to do this safely. The ramp closure is scheduled for Sunday 7 May between 8pm – 5.30am.

The left lane will then be closed to traffic for approximately four weeks while the works are being done. Traffic will be slowed to 60 km per hour through the work zone. Some delays are expected.

There will be access to Pascoe Vale Road and the M80 via the exit ramp during the works.

The works include road re-surfacing and general maintenance of the safety barriers and bridge structure on the Moonee Ponds Creek bridge.

When the works are completed, the ramp will again need to be closed overnight to remove the barriers. This closure is scheduled for 31 May (weather permitting).

Note that there are two recommended detours in place during the overnight closures.

From west or north: Tullamarine Freeway/Mickleham Road/Johnstone Road/Pearcedale Road/Dimboola Road
From south: M80/Sydney Road/Camp Road/Pearcedale Road/Dimboola Road
