Temporary Calder Exit Ramp Closure at Gisborne
10 March 2017
From Tuesday 14 March, the New Gisborne exit ramp on the Calder Freeway at Station Road will be closed to traffic for approximately five weeks.
The closure will allow works to continue on the Calder Freeway-Station Road upgrade.
VicRoads Regional Director Mal Kersting said “throughout the closure detours will be in place for north bound traffic via both the ‘Melbourne Road’ and ‘Mt Macedon Road’ exits.”
“The exit ramp closure is necessary to construct the second roundabout in this intersection upgrade,” Mr Kersting said.
"For those travelling during this period, we remind them to observe the changed traffic conditions including work zone speed limits, for their own safety, the safety of other road users and the safety of our workers.”
"We thank the Gisborne community for their patience during this period of works," Mr Kersting said.
