Bon Jovi plays at the MCG on Saturday night. To help fans get to the G safely and quickly, there'll be closures on Brunton Avenue, Jolimont Street and Jolimont Terrace from 4.50pm until the end of the event. No public parking will be available, so public transport is the best way to get there.

The Wiggles play five shows across Saturday and Sunday at Rod Laver Arena. Olympic Boulevard will be extra busy before and after show times – at 10am, 1pm and 5pm Saturday, and at 10am and 1pm Sunday.

Around 20,000 soccer fans are expected at Marvel Stadium to see Melbourne Victory take on Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday night from 7.50pm.

There will be closures along Beaconsfield Parade, Jacka Boulevard and Marine Parade on Sunday morning for the Women’s Fun Run. Closures set up from 6.30am to 11.30am to make way for the 25,000+ participants. There will be limited local parking available, but trams on routes 3, 12, 16 and 96 stop close to the staging area.

On Sunday night, Melbourne City and the Newcastle Jets go head-to-head at AAMI Park from 7pm.

There will also be major disruptions for train services, with planned works shutting down parts of the Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sandringham lines, as well as changes on the Frankston line. Some tram services will be affected by Yarra Trams works on Flemington Road, William Street, St Georges Road and Kings Way.
