We’re resurfacing sections of the Princes Freeway between Old Geelong Road off-ramp, Altona and Kororoit Creek Road on-ramp, Altona North.

What we're doing

This work involves asphalting sections of the road, including traffic management at the following locations:

  • Old Geelong Road off-ramp to Kororoit Creek Road on-ramp (city bound side of the road).

This maintenance work is necessary to improve the condition of the road’s surface to ensure the future safety and reliability of the road.

Our crews will be working from 16 – 22 May 2019 between 10pm – 5am.

How will these works impact you?

During these maintenance works, there will be:

  • diversions around work areas and detours supported by on-site traffic management
  • a speed reduction to ensure the safety of our work crews and motorists
  • medium-high level of noise, vibration and dust from the works.

More information on detours:

Works are also subject to dry weather conditions, and if these conditions do not allow works to be undertaken they may need to be rescheduled.
