Maintenance works on the Princes Freeway, Werribee

21 May 2019

We’re resurfacing sections of the Princes Freeway between William Thwaites Drive, Werribee and Little River Road, Little River.

What we are doing

This work involves asphalting sections of the road, including traffic management at the following locations:

  • William Thwaites Drive to Little River Road (both sides of the road)

This maintenance work is necessary to improve the condition of the road’s surface to ensure the future safety and reliability of the road.

When to expect us

Our crews will be working from 22 - 24 May 2019 between 9pm - 5am.

How will these works impact you?

During these maintenance works, there'll be:

  • lane closures
  • diversions around work areas supported by on-site traffic management
  • a speed reduction to ensure the safety of our work crews and motorists
  • medium-high level of noise, vibration and dust from the works, however this work will be carried out in non-residential areas.

Works are also subject to dry weather conditions, and if these conditions do not allow works to be undertaken they may need to be rescheduled.

Plan ahead, look out for extra signage and traffic management crews on site to help direct traffic throughout these works.
