Baxter-Tooradin Road, Pearcedale and Devon Meadows maintenance works

19 November 2021

The Victorian Government is completing road maintenance work on Baxter-Tooradin Road between Western Port Highway, Pearcedale and South Gippsland Highway, Devon Meadows.

Update – November 2021

Temporary speed reduction between Fisheries Road and Adeneys Road

Ongoing and consistent wet weather conditions on Baxter-Tooradin Road has led to the deterioration of the road pavement.

To ensure the safety of all drivers, we have temporarily reduced the speed from 100km/h to 80km/h on approximately 2km of Baxter-Tooradin Road.

Asphalting patching works

Asphalt patching works to repair parts of the road will continue into early December, if weather permits.

Once completed, we will conduct further investigations of the road pavement conditions before returning the road back to its original speed limit.

How will works impact you?

Our crews will be working at night between 7pm and 5am. No works will take place on Friday and Saturday nights.
