Pascoe Vale Road, Oak Park maintenance works

The Victorian Government is completing important resurfacing maintenance on Pascoe Vale Road, Oak Park. 

What we’re doing

To keep Pascoe Vale Road safe and strong, crews will be undertaking night resurfacing works in two stages.  

When to expect us 

Stage 1 - Wednesday 10 March to Thursday 11 March & Sunday 14 March 

  • Daytime: Pascoe Vale Road open as normal   
  • Night-time from 8:30pm to 5am: Pascoe Vale Road northbound closure between Stewart Street and Currajong Street. 

Primary detour via Stewart Street, Park Street, Gaffney Street, Cumberland Road, Rhodes Parade, Plumpton Avenue, Wheatsheaf Road and Glenroy Road.

Secondary detour will be via Devon Road, Northumberland Road, Rhodes Parade, Plumpton Avenue, Wheatsheaf Road and Glenroy Road. 

Stage 2 - Wednesday 17 March    

  • Daytime: Pascoe Vale Road open as normal 
  • Night-time from 8pm to 6am: A contra-flow traffic management setup will be in place along Pascoe Vale Road between Corio Street and Glenroy Road. 

How will these works impact you? 

During these maintenance works, there’ll be: 

  • Detours in place
  • Traffic management crews on site
  • To keep everyone safe, we will have safe speeds in place near the work zone
  • There will be some noise, vibration, and dust from the work
