Woods Point Road, Warburton tree works

30 November 2021

We’re undertaking tree management works on Woods Point Road in Warburton.

What we’re doing

We’re keeping Woods Point Road safe by removing a large tree on the side of the road which, if untreated, could present a hazard to road users.

When to expect us

Works are expected to take place on Wednesday 8 December, if the weather permits.

Crews will be working between 7am and 7pm.

How will these works impact you?

To undertake this tree removal, the team will need to use a large tower to reach the tree safely. The narrow nature of the road means that a road closure is required.

During works, there will be:

  • A road closure on Woods Point Road near 125 Woods Point Road in Warburton, with a signed detour via Riverside Drive.
  • Reduced speed limits in place to keep our crews safe.
  • Some noise as we work to remove the tree

We will maintain access to properties and businesses at all times.

Large trucks are advised to avoid the area during working hours, as the detour route is narrow and not suitable for these vehicles.

Plan ahead and allow extra travel time. To ensure the safety of all workers and the community, all construction and maintenance work undertaken will operate under a COVIDSafe Plan.

Thank you for your patience as we complete these necessary safety works.
