Frankston Flinders Road, Flinders road maintenance

09 December 2022

The Victorian Government is delivering important road maintenance work on approximately 100 metres of Frankston-Flinders Road over Manton Creek in Flinders.

Update – December 2022

Our geotechnical team has identified the source of the water that is eroding the road surface on Frankston-Flinders Road over Manton Creek.

We will be undertaking road rehabilitation works at the site to repair the road and prevent further water damage at the site.

These works will include asphalt resurfacing and drainage works to restore the condition of the road surface.

What to expect

  • Crews will be on site for approximately 8 days from 6am to 7pm, Monday 12 December to Monday 19 December
  • Lane closures between Musk Creek Road and Tucks Road
  • Temporary traffic lights to keep traffic moving through the area and to keep our crews safe
  • Temporary speed reductions
  • During works, there may be delays of up to 5 minutes.

Please plan ahead and allow for extra time if Frankston-Flinders Road is part of your journey.

We will work to maintain access to homes and businesses at all times, with traffic controllers on site to help you move through the area safely.

Please note that the dates and times are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Thank you for your patience while we complete these important works.
