Upcoming maintenance on Hopkins Road, Truganina

23 May 2022

As part of our commitment to maintain roads and structures in the west, the Victorian Government is delivering important road maintenance works on approximately 6kms of Hopkins Road in Truganina.

These works will be delivered by Netflow and will involve asphalt resurfacing and line marking to restore the condition of the road surface.

When to expect us

Crews will be on site for 12 nights between Sunday 29 May and Sunday 3 July excluding all Friday and Saturday nights.

We will be working at night from 8pm to 6am to minimise traffic disruption and to keep our crews safe.

Please note that the dates and times are subject to change due to weather conditions.

How will this work affect you?

During working hours, you may notice:

  • A road closure in two stages on Hopkins Road between Sheahan Road and Boundary Road with signed detours in place.
  • High noise levels, vibrations and dust – we’ll work towards minimising these impacts as much as possible.
  • Safety lights within the work area.
  • Reduced speeds during works to ensure the safety of crews and motorists.

Detours will be in place to help motorists travel around the work zone safely and traffic management will be on-site to assist residents and business owners in accessing their properties.
