Sladen Street upgrade, Cranbourne

We have completed a $10.1 million upgrade to Sladen Street in Cranbourne between Codrington Street and Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road.

This will improve traffic flow and create a community friendly environment with shared use paths, a new pedestrian crossing and landscaping.

Project update - December

The upgrade to Sladen Street was completed in the first week of December 2016.

Works started in November 2015 to widen Sladen Street to two lanes in each direction between Codrington Street and Narre-Warren Cranbourne Road.

The upgrade also features new on road bicycle lanes, off road paths for both pedestrians and cyclists, and a pedestrian crossing to the east of Codrington Street.

The existing bus stops have also been relocated to be closer to the new pedestrian crossing.
