Western Roads Upgrade, Heaths Road

As part of our commitment to maintain roads and structures in the west, the Victorian Government is delivering important bridge maintenance works on Heaths Road in Werribee.

These works will be delivered by Netflow and will involve replacing the bridge bearings on Heaths Road Bridge.

When to expect us

Crews will be on site for six nights between Monday 29 May and Thursday 15 June 2023, excluding all Friday and Saturday nights.

We will be working from 8pm to 6am to minimise traffic disruption and to keep our crews safe.

Please note that the dates and times are subject to change due to weather conditions.

How will this work affect you?

During works, you may notice:

  • A full road closure of the Heaths Road Bridge between Greaves Street North and Shaws Road during night works, with a signed detour in place.
  • Closure of the footpath under Heaths Road Bridge, with a signed footpath detour in place.
  • High noise levels, vibrations, and dust – we’ll work towards minimising these impacts as much as possible.
  • Safety lights within the work area.
  • Reduced speeds during works to ensure the safety of crews and motorists.

Traffic controllers will be on site to help you travel around the work area safely.

Plan ahead and allow extra travel time if Heaths Road is part of your journey.
