Major works this spring

As part of Victoria’s Big Build, works continue this spring to remove dangerous and congested level crossings. As part of the West Gate Tunnel Project, the widening of the West Gate Freeway and work on the new elevated road above Footscray Road will continue. In the city, the intersection at Wurundjeri Way and Dudley Street will be closed, as well as eastbound lanes on La Trobe Street between Elizabeth and Swanston streets. Meanwhile, there will be road disruptions at times due to North East Link works, as well as upgrade works on sections of the Princes Freeway in Pakenham, the Western Port Highway and Hall Road intersection.

These works will cause delays on key roads and surrounding areas. Be sure to plan ahead, allow extra time or take an alternative route if possible.
