VicRoads will relocate its Bairnsdale Customer Service Centre from 535 Princes Highway to a new purpose-built site at 61-62 Campbells Drive.
The new centre is expected to open in early 2028 and will deliver the full range of registration and licensing services currently available in Bairnsdale from a modern new location.
There will be no interruption for customers during the transition, with VicRoads continuing to operate from its current location while the new site is developed.
The purpose-built facility will be designed to support the needs of customers, staff and the growing East Gippsland community, with modern, accessible amenities and capacity to meet future demands.
The new location was selected following a comprehensive property search and is located just a three-minute drive from the current centre.
This investment reflects VicRoads' ongoing commitment to providing accessible, reliable and modern services for the Bairnsdale community and the broader East Gippsland region.
