From 1 December 2025, we’re updating prices for some popular custom plate styles in our non-personalised range.
These plates come with pre-set letter and number combinations. You don’t choose the combination – you simply get the next plates that are ready to go.
What’s changing?
- Slimline Black, Motorbike Black, and Slimline White plates will go up by $10 each.
- Euro Black and Euro White plates will drop in price – by as much as $355, depending on the plate’s size.
Why are prices changing?
The increase for Slimline and Motorbike plates reflects rising manufacturing and distribution costs and helps us maintain the quality you expect.
The decrease for Euro plates makes them more affordable and better aligned with market conditions.
Where can you get these plates?
- At VicRoads Customer Service Centres.
- Through selected dealerships.
- These non-personalised plates are not available online.
