Pay less upfront when you choose a 3 or 6 month registration renewal.
Step 1: Sign-up or login to myVicRoads personal account
Step 2: Click on the ‘Vehicles & Registration’ tile on the homepage
Step 3: Find your vehicle and click to ‘Change’ the registration period
Step 4: Choose your preferred registration period, click 'Next'
Step 5: Review the details and then 'Confirm' the change
Step 6: Pay your registration if it's currently due for renewal.
Note: If your registration is currently due for renewal (to allow for system reprocessing) you can only change the registration period between:

This calculator provides a fee estimate for registration renewal fees for light motor vehicles including cars, utes, and motorcycles. Heavy vehicles and heavy trailers are excluded.

* Tare mass is the weight of the vehicle recorded by VicRoads and shown on the Certificate of Registration for the vehicle.
