Sign up for myVicRoads partner account

Get help with setting up your myVicRoads partner account.

Steps to sign up

  1. Click on the person icon
  2. Click Partners   
  3. Click Sign up for a myVicRoads partner account
  4. Follow the steps, including adding administrators. We recommend you add 3 administrators
  5. Accept the terms and conditions then click submit.  We can take up to 15 business days to approve your access due to legal and regulatory requirements we must follow
  6. Give each administrator the verification code you created for them. They’ll need to enter it when they first access the partner account
  7. Once we approve your account, we’ll send an activation email to each administrator
  8. Once they’ve activated their account, administrators can log in to begin using the functions. For more information on the functions available to an administrator see the Administrator and manage users help.
Business type Documents to upload
New vehicle dealer
  • Signed copy of the Dealer certification agreement
  • Public liability insurance certificate of currency, or similar, showing a minimum insured amount of $10 million, policy dates and VicRoads listed as an interested party.
  • Copies of valid National Police Checks for the Dealer Principal and all partner account users.
Used vehicle dealer
  • Signed copy of the Used car trader agreement
  • Copies of valid National Police Checks for the Dealer Principal and all partner account users.
Insurer
  • None
Wrecker
  • None

If you don’t get your activation email, ask another administrator with an active account to resend you the email.  Read the Administrator and manage users help for more information.

You need a Victorian driver licence number or VicRoads customer number to sign up for a myVicRoads partner account. 

To get a VicRoads customer number, visit one of our customer service centres and show the required identity documents.
