Limited use permits
If you need to move your unregistered vehicle, are a member of a car club or are participating in a rally or carnival, you may require a specific permit to operate your vehicle.

Victoria’s Club Permit scheme allows members of vehicle clubs that are recognised by VicRoads to make limited non-commercial use of eligible historic vehicles on the road network.

A carnival float will require an Unregistered Vehicle Permit to travel on a road or road-related area unless the road is permanently closed.
