8. The wait is over! Six digit heritage plates returning 30 July

   16 July 2024 Published 16 July 2024. After a year-long hiatus, VicRoads has today announced that six-digit Heritage plates will be returning on 30 July for a limited release – the first time six-digit Heritage plates have been available since July 2023, when orders had to be paused after just three days due to unprecedented demand.

9. Custom Plates price increase 1 July

   1 July 2024 Commencing from 1 July 2024, the cost of Custom Plate products will go up. Like many other businesses, we have been affected by an increase in manufacturing costs.
   
   The price change will affect the majority of our personalised Custom Plates products, including Custom (Classic), Themed (DC Comics, AFL), Framed (Holden), as well as premium plates such as Euro, Deluxe, and Prestige. The prices for restyle, replacement, and slimline sizes will also increase.
   
   The following products will not be affected by the price increase: Slimline Black, Slimline White, Motorbike Black, Signature and Heritage plates.
