Check your demerit points & driver history

Find out how to check your demerit point balance or order a report of your driver history.

Check your demerit point balance

Before you check your demerit point balance, remember that all drivers start with zero demerit points. If you haven’t committed any offences which incurred demerit points, you’ll have zero demerit points.

To check your demerit point balance you can:

Your demerit point balance is dependent on VicRoads being notified of any offences by other agencies (i.e. Fines Victoria (External link) or Courts (External link)).

If you have an interstate or overseas licence (or no Victorian licence) and you haven’t got a myVicRoads account, you’ll need to visit a VicRoads Customer Service Centre.
